I believe in the power of shared prayer and the healing in sending positive energy. Daisy  who writes "Along the Spiral Path" is having some rather serious health issues and could use your support. Your voice whispers my name,

Like a prayer in the dark.

I close my eyes to see you.

I am still a restless one.

I wish I didn’t need you.

Memories are the coldest comfort,

They cannot warm my bed.

But there’s a red wind blowing

Outside my locked door.

And I dream of you instead.

My fingertips warm to the touch of your memory.

I know every line in your face.

We’re riding the back roads.

We’re laughing in the car.

And the air smells of rain.

There’s a red wind tonight

And it’s blowing my past around.

Heart over head one more time,

And I’m watching the nightfall

While the moon keeps getting further away.

I’m dancing with you in my dreams.

We’re riding the train

We’re burning sage.

So I guess that it’s true

There’s only myself to blame

Do not move quickly into the August sun.
The longest shadows edge the day to a cool breeze.
As Mary waves and calls to no avail
To the children gathered underneath the cypress trees.

Long cars move slowly through the neighborhood,
One behind the other following in tandem.
"Ashes to ashes and dust to dust,"
To Mary it seems so pointless and so random.

She kicks fresh dirt beside an open grave.
The cars are leaving faster than they came.
Mary smells a rose and shakes her head.
She'll be leaving like the others all the same.

Mary doesn't live here anymore......

Arthur passes Mary but he cannot see.
He raises his face to heaven and feels the rain.
All alone in his darkness and his grief
Arthur knows he will always feel this dark pain.

Mary touches Arthur but he cannot feel.
His tears mix with the wet and rainy day.
Mary sends her love a kiss and a caress...
As the evening passes so does Arthur's rage.

"My memories will never be enough,"
And finally he begins to move away.
Mary walks alone into the night ....
"Same time, next life," he heard her say

Mary has temporarily changed addresses........
